Claims - Operational Excellence

Role Summary

The Claims Operational Excellence Executive supports the continuous improvement and operational effectiveness of the Claims function. The role is responsible for analysing operational performance, identifying process improvement opportunities, monitoring key metrics, and supporting initiatives that enhance productivity, service quality, and customer outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse Claims operational performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and insights to support management decision-making.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation of operational excellence initiatives.
• Assist in root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Support workforce planning, capacity tracking, and workload management activities.
• Maintain operational documentation, procedures, and performance monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with Claims, Quality Assurance, and other stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support governance, reporting, and tracking of operational excellence projects. 

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in operations, business analysis, process improvement, claims, or operational reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel; exposure to Power BI or data visualization tools is an advantage.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is an added advantage.
